Why do you have to buy the flamming river steering shaft when useing a flamming river manual rack on a fox? peace

the manual steering rack's input shaft is a larger diameter than the power steering one. im not sure if an older fox body steering shaft with factory manual steering would work (i.e. 82 or older). there is an adaptor piece that you can buy that bolts up to the rack end of the stock steering shaft.. go to flaming rivers website. its some where around the $80 range. beware that the wrag joints will add unwanted play and probaby wear out.
