Hey guys another beginner question. My car has flat top pistons and i've been reading a lot of threads with people having to notch their flat tops. I was just wondering what are the limitations of having flat top pistons as opposed to notched. Thanks

I have flat tops in my engine. My next engine won't.I need valve reliefs to run the heads and cam I want.I have ported E-7 heads and an E303 cam,and that's really pushing it.The car runs awesome, and pulls hard, but any more than that, the pistons and valves are going to become intimate friends.
