shifting between 3rd and 4th today. The floor mat made my throttle hang at WOT. The car was in neurtal getting ready to go to 4th gear. The engine bouncing off the rev limiter @6200 rpm's. I quickly shut it down and restarted the engine. It acted fine, It was only there for 2 secs max.
I drove it from orlando to savannah. I hope everything is okay. What do you guys think? Thanks!

yeah but hitting it without a load on the engine has got to be worse than hitting it in gear. It hit the rev limiter in neutral. ??????????????

My floor mats were creaping towards the front and made the throttle stick a little but not WOT. You really have to watch them and pull them back periodically. The little hook on the floor just rips the carpet, did the same thing on my 99.

I would have rather it get hung up in gear rather than in neutral. I guess everything is okay. 6200 rpm's is not enough to even float the valves on this motor. I would think that the engine is okay. ???????????
