Floor Mat Question

I recently purchased a new 2008 Mustang GT convertible and just noticed that there are no floormats in the back. It has most available options, including the interior upgrade package. Does anyone know if rear floormats are suppose to be included? Thanks

I had the same options on my GT and they didn't come with it either. I just went to Wally World and found a nice set of black carpet rear mats that were the correct width and then I trimmed them to fit between the seat rails. I cut them so that they fit under the plastic trims and they look great.

Rear floor mats are not included. And guess what, you can't buy rear floor mats alone. You can only buy a complete set, front and rear. I have had the discussion for years with my dealer. The parts guy said people get more upset with Ford over floor mats than anything else. I now put in any deal for a car a complete set of floor mats.
The whole concept behind the rear floor mats, pardon me, floors me. Not one of Ford's better ideas.

My solution only cost about $15.00 and the carpet matches the factory fronts perfectly and after trimming they fit perfectly. For $15.00 is wasn't worth worrying about.

I get the all-weather Ford with the running pony. I make the dealer include them in the deal.
