What floor mats do you run in your foxbody ? I had the 5.0 mats from LMR
https://lmr.com/item/ACC-7993BLK-219/79-93-Mustang-50-Logo-Floor-Mats-Black

the drivers side mat would slip up under the pedals when shifting hard.

Put some floor mat clips in. I use the Eagle Klaw brand, available on Amazon.

You know how there is a small problem but its something that you deal with and then you see a solution that you did not ever really bother to search for...so yeah, I just bought a set and thank you both!

I have ACC mats. Bought them about 10 years ago and haven’t had an issue with them riding up

The factory mat worked its way into a position to hang the accelerator pedal wide open when I was a teenager with my '84. This happened twice with no ill effect other than needing a change of underwear. I learned to keep the floor mat pulled all the way back to the seat and not let it slip forward.

Can you show your mats? Cuz mine still dragged up under the pedals causing the Gas pedal to get stuck on the floor when I floored it and I hit the Rev limiter while upshifting to 3rd to pass a car..happened twice . Got home and threw it in the trash I was so mad.

I am moving this highly technical discussion to the Talk forum.

Particularly since it applies to [every] Fox regardless of year or drivetrain.

I have these. Just looked back and I bought them in 2009.

I haven’t had a single issue with them at all.

Looks awesome thanks. I had those pedal covers too only problem was I have wide shoes I would hit the clutch and brake at the same time so I took em off, you don't have one on the brake I notice.

Brake pedal is a maximum motorsports pedal for the hydroboost setup i'm running.

I actually bought a second pedal pad that I was going to cut up and modify to fit the matching brake pedal pad....but I can't seem to find where I put it and don't want to order up another one.

Still have the same mats. I just know to check that when I get in the car.

I'm talking noise over here. That car hasn't driven under its own power in more years than I want to admit. And that bothers me. I have already gathered 90% of the parts for a drive train swap to get it going again.

It's an original carpet. I was fortunate to find one in great shape so never had a need to replace it.
