Flowbench results & internal balancing check

I have a couple of questions for you all.

I am in the middle of a rebuild of my 302, but I started the work about 8 years ago. At that point, I got most of the parts, but didn't actually start the build for various personal reasons. Now, as I am getting back to it, I find that I have lost all my old information on the custom ported heads intake and other pieces I put together. Is there someplace here in Southern California (preferably in the Long Beach/North OC area) where I can take my intake and heads and get them flow-benched? I am just looking to make sure that they are well matched so I can move on to the next stage of the build without worrying about getting them worked on to match up better.

Also, I am pretty sure that I got the thing internally balanced. The local machine shop wants to charge me $165 to check it to make sure. Is there any way for me to check it at home? I realize that if I am wrong that I could be endangering the engine, but I just want a sanity check before going and blowing another $200 on this thing.

Thanks for the help.

If it the rotating assembly was balanced there should be some holes drilled in the counterweights or it may have some heavy metal "mallory" welded into the counter weights. The only way to truly know is to have it checked, $165 is a little steep since you can have it balanced for about that price.

What heads and intake do you have ported?

I have a set of Twisted Wedge heads and a Ford GT40 intake. Obviously, the upper on the GT40 can't be ported, but the lower was supposedly done. I want to make sure that the lower flows as well as the upper does.

if the lower was done properly, it will outflow the upper and the intake as whole will feed the TW heads at the same flow level............but they both still have to work together and total runner length is what counts.
