I'm thinking of getting my dad a Force II catback for his 2000 silverado for father's day. Anyone have or hear this catback? I had to sell him on the idea, and I know he will not like a loud obnoxious exhaust that drones like crazy, so I think the Amercian Thunder is out. The truck is stock otherwise. Thanks for the help.

i have them on my T/A. I think its alright(as far as sound of LT-1 goes). I have some drone, but not as bad as say super 40.

Keep in mind that I bought Flowmaster for my T/A, because i don't care for it as much as i care about my Mustang. I hate rusty exhaust

If you love your father, i would get magnaflow or something like that instead of flowmaster.

lol

HAHA!! Ok, thanks for the advice. The problem is that the magnaflow is almost double the price. How loud is the magnaflow catback? Does it drone like crazy? I live in cali, and the truck doesn't see the snow but a few times a year, and for the most part, sits in front of our house and gets used as a weekend driver. So would rust really be that big of an issue?

i had a magnaflow in my old 93 Z28. Its about best sound you can get for less then 500bucks imo. It had ZERO drone, and fits great, and with stainless construction, it look nice too.
Flowmaster i think would rust, not because of rain, but from constant heating and cooling. And moisture in the air. My Rustmaster in T/A is showing rust around welding already, and it have about 250miles since i install it(and that include no driving in rain)
I know that Magnaflow is almost twice as much. But its worth it. Heck if T/A was trouble free, I would have gotten one for it. But with all the issue its having, i didn't feel enough love at the time to spend that much for it at the time
