I just love the sound of these muffflers. Makes me want to drive to work with the windows down and in third gear. I guess I never will grow up.

i think the OP meant that he wants to drive in 3rd gear to hear the sweet spot in the exhaust all the time, thus hurting mileage.

Correct bigcat...anything to hear them roar. its killing my mileage. I cannot even control myself for one tank of gas to try and see what I'm really getting. Funny thing is, I got a deal on the mufflers and would not have spent the money otherwise. I thought it sounded pretty good stock. Now I would pay full retail for them.

Just outta curiosity, what are you guys getting for your average gas mileage? I'm at about 14MPG myself (pretty much all city driving). Seems kinda low considering the original window sticker says 17 city and 25 highway. Yea right!!

With spirited driving in town I can get about 17-18. On the highway, I get about 24. Mixed driving I can get 20 pretty easy. Mine is my daily driver and I commute 31 miles each way to work with 26 of that on the interstate.

I'm getting ~21 mpg with about 60/40 (City/Highway) driving.

at around 1900rpm i can get 27+/- on the interstate...
