quick flowmaster questions

Are the Super 40's the mufflers that come on the american thunder catback? Are these the loudest flowmasters? Do they come in 2.5 diameter? Where can I find them for the cheapest?

Yes those are the ones that come on the American Thunder Cat-back. They are the loudest and check out summit they have them pretty cheap.

Are you sure they are super 40's because the part reads American Thunder 40 Delta Flow Series O/O and I thought delta were a different, quieter version.

Is the catback all bolt up? I don't see any flanges on the system it looks like it needs to be welded....

The one chambers are the loudest but are not offered in their cat-back system only the 40series. look up part#flo-17112 it just says they feature 2 chambered mufflers nothing about it being the delta series or just call summit and ask them.

So does anyone know if its bolt on or weld on because as I stated earlier the pic doesn't look like the exhaust has flanges.

On flowmastermufflers.com they have a video of a install on a 2001 GT, and it needed to be welded.

I run a Flowmaster cat back and it was a complete bolt-on kit. The install didn't take long at all, it was taking off the stock that took so long.

I'm sure that to get it on you can just bolt it up, but to make sure it don't leak i'd have it welded.
