Hey man , I have a bone stock exhaust except for some cheapo glasspacks the muffler guy had laying around, like 40 bucks for both or something. Here's a vid of a my stang, you be the judge. I'm not going WOT though, just giving it some gas.

I like the loud factor; I like scaring little kids and old people in buicks lol j/k. However, as far as sound goes packs have a clappy kind of sound and I think good ol flowmasters or dynomax's might give it a deeper, throatier rumble.

I like mine, but I'll probably swap out to mufflers later and who knows, I may not like them either and go back with packs. Good luck.

i have the flowtech purple hornies with the turndown tip. They bolt strait onto the flowteck long tube headers i have, they were cheap and the sounds freaking awesome. My car sounds like a top fuel dragster, well kinda  i would say go with them, i havent had any problems other than having to go slow over speed bumps, cuz they hang kinda low.

I have 1966 Shelby GT-350 side exit exhaust on my 1967 Fastback with a 289... Sounds f***ing crazy on WOT, but cruisin' or at idle it just purs nice and low, not obscene or anything. I've heard glasspacks before and been like "jesus.. turn it down a bit, it sounds like a$$" but these are a lot larger sized and give it just the tone I wanted, I was damn lucky.

The pipes stuck out a bit further than I wanted but I had them heated and pulled forward just to the right spot. Bingo bango I'm done with my exhaust and I love it, along with everyone else at the shows and in my neighborhood.

thanks guys, im probably gonna buy them for now until i figure out what to do for the exhaust. i wanna put flows w/ h-pipe but those are overplayed, but they just sound so nice. nice lookin stang mrbobmarley, sounds nice too. helped alot  i like that setup you're running mustangmatt :D

Thanks also. The right glasspacks and side exit might be damn nice man. I know for a while I had hacked the tailpipes off my car for a little while, so I had dumps, but they didn't turn down. It was a bit louder than after I had the tailpipes put on, but I can feel more torque now. But then again, my engine is on its deathbed. Good luck, hope you're happy with your choice.
