Just took my car to get some headers, 4.10's, dragon plenum, and a full dyno tune and the headers are crap. Everyhing else is going great, but the problem is the headers are crap... It leaks where the 2 pieces of the header slide into each other on the drivers side. I am getting the install done by T@J and am so glad I didn't do it! I'll post the gains soon, but DON'T buy flowtechs!! We have figured out the header problem, but it was in no way worth it to skimp out on good headers... Get the BBK's!

Glad you found the problem, but no offense....never skimp on headers.

Flowtech what are those...

flowtech I believe is s subsidiary of Hooker but of far less quality, I had an o/r X from them and it was junk. the flat connection on pass side was warped and always leaked, I finally junked it

I got a flowtech X too. The thing fitted so badly that it had to be cut up and rewelded to fit, pain in the ass, but no leaks yet.

You get what you pay for and flowtech is CHEAP!

I've always read Hooker makes the best headers performance wise AND quality wise (but they are pricey). What kinda gains did you get from this setup?

I have a 00 gt (01 gt is in sig) and these are the mods... Ohhroad X pipe-Flowtech lt headers, magnapacks, 4.10's, dragon plenum, dyno tune and it made 252 RWHP and 290 RWTQ. Does that seem a little low? I am thinking the spark plugs may be bad after 40K miles. The tune was excellent, I guess the headers don't make the power..

Spark plugs dont need to be changed for 100k they are platinum. I would guess you should be putting out closer to 260 but the 4.10s maybe affecting the numbers negatively a little. You should be running low 13.4's or so with some nittos.
