I was idling and I noticed smoke coming out beside the front fenders. I stopped the car and popped the hood. What appeared to be transmission fluid was burning off the top of the H-pipe and smoke was coming up from the back of the engine bay. I could also see fluid on the passenger front side of the H-Pipe. Engine was running fine, oil pressure and temperature were normal.
The AOD is original and has had a few shifting issues since I got my engine rebuilt. I can't get under it till Monday but I was wondering could it have finally died or could it be something simple like the dipstick tube coming out or a broken seal?
