what kind of fluid would you put in your T5 for an everyday driver?

I think I put Dextron III in mine. Might have been Mercon. W/E the bottle said was for Ford.

Mercon is the spec'd fluid. I run D4 personally but you'll find that people use about everything out there.

Same here and as the temp drops you will be glad you did because the viscosity of the synthetic oil is more stable at the extreme temps.

I use what the factory recomended. Good old ATF mercon.

I use what is recommended by Ford. I have used synthetic before with no problems. However the tranny in my 90 doesn't like it.

mercron II or III i cant remember, i was told by a few people that you can use 10W30 motor oil too? i wasnt going to do that until i know people that have actually done it. i know all hondas use 10w30 so i really wouldnt see what the problem would be
