I need a new clutch in my '02. I am buying a McLeod Stage II clutch, 11", organic face. Through the research that I have done it is suggested to get a new flywheel while replacing the clutch, so I am. I don't want to get aluminum, so I am going to stay steel.

My question is...is there any benefit to buying a Billet Steel flywheel (like Spec, or others?) or will a new stock flywheel be just as good?

Thanks for the help!

i have never had a problem with my aluminum one... but any you WILL pay for any aftermarket one. You can gain strenght with steel etc, but under any normal circumstances it is not necessary at all. really your stocker, like he said, will be fine. keep the cash for now and save up for some stuff that will break the stocker lol
