Is it necessary to replace my flywheel during a C4 to T5 swap? They're quite expensive... and I was wondering if it's a must or recommended. Any hidden problems if I don't?
If you are going like you state from automatic to manual... yes you will need to change the flywheel. Autos use a 'flexplate'/flywheel that is totally incompatible with a manual trans.
