Does anyone have any experience with the B303 camshaft, in comparison to an 303, or an F303 camshaft

Depends on the combo.... Each one of those cams have their place.

I have the b303 with my combo. Works pretty good for me but I'm interested in some of the newer cams out there. I have a couple of friends with the f303 cam and tfs heads. Works great for them and sounds good.

I have a b303 with my motor and I love the lope. It has good power above 3000rpm. I got it from a guy who installed the E-303 out of those two that he had. He wishes he had installed the b but it wasn't worth re-doing it.. From what I hear there are better cams out there but I got mine for 100bucks... Hope that helps...

NO B-CAM.

with a set up like that, the ONLY option is something custom.

Agreed. Why spend all that money on your combo only to put a cam in that won't make the most of it?

I have experience and have ran both cams. Currently running the F cam. B cam didnt have the best low end, but came alive and pulled all the way 3k-redline. F cam, well, it sounds pretty neat, decent low end, 3300-3500 it comes alive and blasts the tires off.

I agree with nate. With a 347, a B cam isn't gonna help you get the most power out of that combo. Especially not with those heads. Custom is definitely the way to go

I am running the B cam on 1.7RR's with a 2* advance, so mine might perform a little different from others. On the 1.7's it has .510 lift like the F cam, but with less durration and a lower LSA. When I hit about 3800 it really hits and pulls hard to 6000, but below 3000rpm the torque is less than desirable. Of course it is plenty for the street but when I launch at the track, it really shows. I might have to pull the cam and put the stocker back in for emmisions, and I don't think I will put it back in because I think I can do better with a custom or other newer grind.

Will probably go with a custom eventualy, just had a line on a B cam from a guy at work, brand new, in the box, never used, but I have not seen much being said about the B cam, once again thanks for all the info and opinions
