FMS Cobra intake or Edelbrock Performer

I have a Cobra intake on my car now. A friend has a Performer and has offfered to give it to me. Both have not been modified. Whitch is the better intake.

Tim what is the combo it is going on top of?

I like the Performer lower better then a out of the box Cobra on most combo's.

I'm sure tmoss "Tom" will chime in wth some more info.

Is he going to give it to you or trade? What do you want to with the car, daily driver, occaisional strip trips? I like the cobra for a daily driver, plus I like the way it looks.

If you're using stock, GT40, or P heads, I'd stick with the Cobra. Go Edelbrock if you've got aluminums.

The Performer has better runner shape and holds a small flow advantage in stock form 205-210cfm Cobra to the 210-215cfm for the Performer. Their both very good intakes but I'd also like to know the heads/cam/exhaust to be used.
