well I can get a deal on a FMS 65mm TB and EGR spacer and was wondering if these are any good or if anybody has had any problem with them? I was hopin for an accufab TB but this is such a good deal, and it is used if that makes a difference.thanks

I bought one used but it was nib. They come with a new TPS and an IAC. Thats why I like them. Usually your old ones are gunked up. If you have a stock upper intake, make sure to open it up to the 65mm gasket size. Otherwise I'd wait to put it on.

Made by Ford for a Ford...What else do you need to know??

Yeh if it's in good shape and working properly there should be no problems...
Read one time that 65mm is the ideal size for a 5.0 motor...Airflow is about the same as a 650 holley or so. Supposedly you want the air intake to neck down from the filter to the MAF to the TB to the intake to keep the velocity up...Every little bit helps...

Get the spacer too and I've heard you can carefully open up the stock intake to match if you have too, but I have a GT 40 that dosen't need it...Or the Cobra that has the spacer built in...

BTW I bought mine used and no problems....

The FMS TB has to be of very high quality because it's not really a performance part...it's a production line part. It's the throttle body used on 93 cobras 93-95 Lightnings and all 5.0 Explorers use a variant of it. A lot is at stake if one fails.

I have a Explorer 65mm TB on my car
