I want to order a stall torque Converter for my 351W 1969 mustang mach 1with a FMX (stock). I want to order it and have it here on hand before I pull my FMX. In the summit raqcing book they offer a TCI 11" brake away converter. FMX with 1.375 crank pilot for 1968-71, part # TCI-482200+ w/29 spline. Question, id there only one fmx tranny? will this fit?

Hmm.,..I think they are all the same.

I happen to have the FMX transmission out of my car for a T5 swap, so I'll count the splines and take a measurement for you.

Also, you wouldn't happen to be interested in a used performance converter would you? I have a 2400rpm stall (stalled at 2200 behind my motor) that came out with my FMX transmission(Im doing a T5 swap). Its in excellent shape with only about 5000 miles on it. Still looks brand new. Its a high quality unit that was custom built by TCS http://www.tcsproducts.com/ and cost me a bundle. I will sell it for a great price if you are interested.
