F'n Radiator Leak

So walking back to my car yesterday after lunch I noticed a cute little puddle under the car. I had the queen fire it up, I watched.....nothing. She shut it down, and then I could see/hear it.

Little pinhole leak on the side of the radiator. That entire area is corroded to all hell. Knew it was coming sooner or later.

Anyway, I found a pretty good deal for a new one, but I need to know how long I can drive this thing w/o worrying about overheating the motor. Its not pissing coolant, but it is leaking a little bit everytime I shutdown.

Anything I can do until I get the new one in to stop/slow the leaking? Someone told me to drop and egg in my radiator but I dont like the idea of using food to fix my car.

dont put any kind of stop leak in there. Sounds like you need a new radiator

That stop leak goop clogs up the entire system.
As for the pinhole, it's a crap shoot.
Some people drive for weeks with one and others have it blow
out in a couple of hours.
Get a new radiator quickly is my advice!

stick a piece of bubble gum over it

on mythbusters they put a couple eggs into the radiator to cure a small pinhole leak and it actually worked....
