Foam PAds?!

Are foam applicator pads okay to use when applying wax or polish I was gonna get some and just use them then throw them away. Will these scratch the paint and is their any certain material or brand I could use? Thnaks

You should be able to find the yellow Meguiars foam applicator pads at WalMart. No, they will not scratch your paint. You do have to be careful though not to get anything on the applicator that could scratch the paint.

How does everyone clean them?

You can wash them in a bucket of dawn dishwashing liquid, rinse them out and let them air dry. I buy them by the dozen from Meguiars (12 for 5.88) so I pretty much throw them out after each use.

Normally with things like that you use mild detergent and wash and rinse it out. But as cheap as they are I'd just use and throw away. What do you use RJstaff? Thnaks for all your help!
