Hi, I've tried a few forums but nobody has had the willingness to help me out here :\

Ok, I bought an 87 GT and turned it into a 92 GT (seat belts, wiring, dash, airbags, everything...) so let's just say it's a 92.

When I bought the car, it was in a front end collision, didn't come with anything on the front end, not even a rad support. I took the rad support off a 92 GT, it was brand new as this car was also in a front end accident recently and had been repaired, but once again, no front end parts, no bumper, fenders, hood, foglight bar.. etc. So I never got the chance to see how it mounted to the bottom of the rad support, of if this car ever had the foglight bar on it and is missing the holes for the screws. I just don't know. I bought a new foglight bar from ford, so I know I shouldn't have any fitment problems, but I am.

Basically, I was wondering if anybody happened to have any pictures of how the foglight bar is mounted to the rad support. Any help would be great!

Thanks in advance

Well there are fog light brackets that screw into the radiator support the the foglight bar goes into the bottom front fender cover then the bar gets bolted to the foglight support brackets

Thanks!

So the foglight bar doesn't bolt to the radsupport at all? it's only held on by the foglight brackets? I found a picture on ebay of just the foglight bar, off the car, and it had 4 screws going through the small holes in the foglight bar, what are they for then? I'll attach a picture of that foglight bar, I took a snap of the bottom of my rad support as well, to show that whatever those four screws may be for, I don't have :\

Do the fenders have to be on the car to mount it? because it seems like the foglight bar is longer than my rad support, so the brackets are outside the radsupport, doesn't look like they can bolt to it anywhere :\ I'm so lost with this thing, I'll attach a picture of my front end as well, maybe someone can tell me if i'm missing something for it :\ If i'm missing something in either picture, someone please tell me, this is driving me insane.

Thanks again

right it connects with brackets in those holes on either side of the rad i think....the bar is longer (keeps things squared up...i.e. bumper cover), but the mount plates arent...man its been a while since i looked tho so im only like 25%. If nobody posts before later, ill try to get out and snap a few for ya...got an exam to go to first lol

no, listen, first off, you don't really need the bar, it just supports the brackets and the bottom of the bumper a little... second the bar is mounted to the fog light brackets and between the scoop and lower lip (boltong to the lip) of the front bumper. The brackets mount to the bumper support, the fenders don't have much to do with it. Mine's not in, but neither are the brackets or foglights, although you could have foglights without the big support bar. so...

--------- bumper bar
II II foglights
--------- foglight bar

This is a little off topic, but i was wondering how much the fog light mounting bracket weighs? Right now both the bulbs in mine are bad, not to mention the lense is cracked on both. So i was wondering if it would benefit me anything as far as weight.

Alright, thanks everybody, I really appreciate it, I'll see if I can figure this out later.

The foglight bar itself doesn't weigh much... maybe... 7 or 8lbs... each bracket that holds the foglight weighs more that the foglight bar though
