fog light bulb change problems

how do i change the drivers side fogligh bulb on a 99 gt? i took out the front screw(with spring on back) and the bottom torx screw and the assembly is just moving around now..i was hoping to be able to pull it out completely and clean the lenses some but now im afraid i wont even be able to get the front screw back in...anyways how to change the bulb?

There's two more torx screws on top of the bracket, and they can be a PITA to reach. The bulbs themselves will come out from the back of the foglight assemblies by removing the connector and turning the base of the bulb without removing the whole assembly.

gave up on any cleaning, just changed the bulb instead...is there not a way to totally delete a topic?

A moderator can do it.

I changed my fog lights to clear lens assemblies and experienced what you did. Many four-letter words were used against those lights. You can tape the torx bit into a socket and remove the two top screws that way. I read smewhere since that a McDonalds straw will hold the screws tight enough to use as an extension to get them re-started.
