I am thinking of deleting the fog lights on my GT. Anyone got a pic of how this looks on a two tone car? And does it make the front bumper cover saggy and flimsy?

Did it make your front bumper cover extremely flimsy?

It is a little flimsy, but not very noticable!

You could always make a couple of small aluminum brackets to help re-stiffen if you need to!

I would make or leave some kind of bracket on there. The stock bracket looks like crap, but If I had to go back and do it I would have left my fog lights on. It does make your bumper all saggy and flimsy, but the worst part is it has no support. The bottom part of my bumper is all cracked now. Shaving the couple pounds is not worth having to buy a new bumper, if your doing it for looks find a way to support it. Trust me you'll regret it in a year if you dont. I can get some pics of mine if you want.

Here you go, I got the crack a couple months after I took out the fog lights, been afraid to take a picture of the front of my car ever since. Now I need to drop a couple hundred on a new bumper.

Thanks guys, I guess I will just leave them alone then. I did just yank my A/C compressor off. I was suprised how heavy that S.O.B is. Now I can't wait for my deleta bracket to show up so I can put it back together.

Just take the bracket along the bottom out and leave the fog lights in. I did this and have had no problems.

I took the bottom bracket off not too long ago and now one of my 'louvers' are cracked like in mob's pic. I guess I better put it back on before it gets worse.

The heavy bracket that holds the fog has nothing to do with the bumper cover one is independent of the other.
