Fog lights on or off ?

I was wondering who here drives with there fog lights on at night. I always turn my fog lights on, mostly out of habit, but I get person after person flashing their brights at me. So I'm thinkin' maybe I should not use them.

on all the time, even during the day. i haven't gotten flashed yet, even with the HIDs, to my disappointment (wait, what kind of flashing are we talking about here?). when i did in my old stang (strange - lights weren't that bright), i'll just flash back.

I use them pretty much all the time. I get flashed non-stop but other people's ignorance of the vehicle shouldn't be my loss. I give them at least a good long hold on the brights.

I do, however, try to run parks & fogs only whenever the opportunity arises but it looks so freakin cool.

I run my fogs all the time or my parking and fogs. I have opnly been flashed a few times so I just flash my brights back. The fogs are more like "Driving Lights" I have had on other cars and on secondary roads they light the shoulders and close to the front of the car really well.

I get flashed all the time and I just flash back at them. Sometimes I flip them off just to send them an extra message if the still don't get it. Got pulled over once and got a warning for them when the cop failed to prove they were fog lights and not driving lights.

I used to run mine all the time from dusk to dawn. I only goit flashed once. Since the passenger side bulb burned out during the winter, I've been too lazy to swap it so now I don't use them at all.:rlaugh:

When headlights are on so are the fogs.
get flashed occasionally.
I go long periods with no flashes, then get a few in a row.
I had a VW bug flash, that was hilarious.
I had to do a double take to be sure, the difference is hardly noticable.
That same morning I passed an SUV and then he swung in behind me and turned his fogs on for about a mile, then turned them off and got back in the right lane.
Didn't bother me at all.
Fogs shouldn't bother anyone.
I think it's just the four lights in a row that makes people think the brights are on, not the actual brightness.
Of the lights, not the other driver.
Hmmm, I could be wrong about that.

I only run them night time in poorly lit areas unfamiliar to me. Also full tilt with highbeams if needed. There have been other occasions where I needed more light but turned on the highbeams/no fogs. If an oncoming car see one set of lights off, he or she is less apt to flash. I guess people are not too bright <<sic>>. The average Joe (or Josephine) will think those are 4 headlights!

- I used to have on-coming vehicles flashing their headlights at me everytime I used my foglights, thinking my high-beams were on.

- Then I found the perfect solution, I got the amber lens kit from Moss Mustang; I also put chrome trim rings on my foglights. The kit is actually just extra thick yellow film (16.5 mm thick) that covers the light (easy to install). The kit comes pre-cut for the headlights and foglights but I just used it on the foglights.

- Great solution. Everyone 05-07 Mustang owner with the grill mounted foglights should do this!!!
