Fog Lights Question...

how much do these suckers weigh? would it be worth it to remove?

If you like the look of the foglights at all, then it's not worth it to remove them. I don't know exactly how much they weigh, but when I took my stock ones out to put in my ultra-clears, they didn't weight hardly anything. Maybe 20 lbs MAX if you take out all the brackets.

I dont think the weight savings are worth it, unless you hate the look of them, then its a bonus. I suppose if you added it to a lot of other weight saving things, then maybe, but by itself its not worth it.

The fog lights and the brackets, as well as the fog light support beam that runs between them, in all over 30lbs at least, right over the nose of the car. The don't really do much lighting, at least mine didn't so I deleted it all about 2 years ago.

i think it looks pretty nice on some cars, im thinking of taking mine off, i saw another white fox without them with newheadlights just like mine, looked pretty sporty

90mustang GT - if its all really 30lbs then its removed..

I'm trying to save about 60lbs off the nose of my car.. removing Smog pump, Cowl hood, and now the fog lights...

plus after manual swap I'll lose well over 100lbs total
