I recently had to remove the rear seat in my 69 fast back to replace the shocks. Much to my surprise I discovered that the seat back was hinged at the bottom. However the seat back was attached at the top. What additional is required to make this a fold down rear seat.
Thanks in advance

you need about 95% of the parts still...

you have one of the three large panels (and the two hinges)
carpet
chrome trim
rear inner quarters
panel above trap door
trap door
trap door prop rod
trap door prop rod latch
trap door latch
trap door striker
trap door hinges
fold down latches

its a simple finnish just add the missing part, but kind of expensive
stang-aholics has the fold down panels in fiberglass ,i wouldnt
recamend the plastic panels they are just to flimsy and the grain
is not correct, stang -aholics also has a rear seat delete tray, somthing
like the 65 r model ,it even mounts the spare tire . it also has speaker pods for
two 6 x 9 s of course you no longer have a rear seat but its just a fraction of
the cost of a fold down seat. i purchased one for my 69 shelby replica, i have
pics in my albums-upcomming projects, i believe they are the only ones that
offer this tray

all of the parts needed to convert the seat to fold down are available
its just expensive , the seats are the same its just the non fold down seat
is missing every thing from the top hinge and every thing behind it, the trim
around the non fold down seat is usualy painted the chrome trim is available
