should be a couple of weeks before everything goes back in.........i still have to have my heads reassembled.....etc.

It costed 90$ to get it done......one coat of chrome powder and another coat of clear powder....

I would highly recommend having this done as it should look this good for a while to come........

What he said...thats a smokin deal for the prepping and paint....didnt see the crank/idler/alt pullies/coil bracket...that stuffs all out front in view....
You painting the block??? Snap some pics assembled on the motor stand..

I was wondering when I see that intake, thought you were gonna swap it out?? You need this to top that motor off...

You mean more like JR now!

Anyway, I never heard of chrome powder coat. What's the "bling" factor on that? Looks shiny, but not like you can see any kind of reflection in it, but I know it's hard to tell by internet pics.

No matter what, $90 is an awesome price to clean those parts up like that. Those smaller pieces would be about $40-$75 each to chrome or polish.

the pictures don't really do it justice for me.............with the clear and all on it, it looks just like polished aluminum.........

Andy....i was planning on buying a trick flow.......but it will have to wait a month or so....i bought those damn wheels.....lol......the block is already painted a light blue........but won't be in there much longer.....I bought a used shortblock......gonna dissassemble it and send it to the machine shop when i get this put back together....I am gonna build a stroker motor undecided on 331 or 347 yet.......but that way i will still be able to drive the car while working on the motor, since i have had it down i have been kicking myself in the but.....cause i haven't drove it almost all summer.

i will post some better pics later..........I have some other stuff to get done.....i am gonna try and throw another color in the engine bay....like the same color as the car. but we'll see
