For anyone who installed or has a deltachip or any chip

I am installing mine tonight and wanted to know how much do you really have to clean the J3 chip connector. I have been scotchguarding and cleaning for like 15-20 min now and its the 3rd time I have tried putting it on and the car wont start.

Anyone have any ideas? I have a 1999 GT and am using a Diablosport Revolution.

OK should the chip snap onto the ECU or just push on?

Should just push on and i had to clean the connector like crazy for about 30 mins to get it to work.

Do you want it to be stain resistant?

You have to get all of that coating off. Carefully use some 1000 grit sand paper if you need to.
