That was pretty unnecassary. They could've just as easily pissed people off by making them watch their crappy ass show.

Top Gear SUCKS!!!

It would be okay if they weren't so damn biased. They bashed the Mustang and only pointed out how cheap it is compared to the other cars they drive once after they talked crap about it for 10 minutes. They're not just against American cars either, anything that is not British, they don't like as much.
They did a review of the Ferrari 575 vs. the Aston Martin Vanquish, and despite the 575 outperforming the Aston, and looking WAY better, they all said they liked Aston better. They even said they had to send the Aston off to be fixed 3 times. That makes no damn sense.

My friend just commented the other day about how he's getting sick of how biased they are. But he said Fifth Gear isn't as bad... . I don't know cause it's not on TV much.

lol okay I see what you mean now. I was watching the one where they tested the new Corvette and they were completely bashing it in every aspect, saying that its technology is still in the time of horse-dramn charriots because it uses a rear leaf spring. But its not just any ordinary leaf spring suspension, these guys had no idea what they were talking about. And after talking trash about it for 10 minutes it still scored pretty high on their "lap board".

I still love the show because it seems like they have an unlimited budget. Did you guys see the race from Italy to London in the Buggatti (sp?) Veryon? I loved that episode. The other amazing one was when they got an old Toyota pickup from some middle-eastern country and beat the living hell out of it so see if they could kill it. Even after putting it through lots of crashes, putting it in the ocean and putting it on the roof of a tall building and imploding it, the damn thing still ran under its own power. Unbelievable stuff...
I'll keep watching the show as long as its on, just disregard the stupid comments they make about american cars.

Oh and I'll never forget the one last year (or the year before) where they tested the MacLaren-Mercedes SLR. Even though its heavy and an automatic, I get an erection just thinking about it.

The episode that really made me stop watching the show was when they reviewed the Lightning. There #1 complaint that they hounded OVER and OVER was how terrible the steering was..... they kept saying it felt like it was going to fall apart. THEN they commented about how the truck isn't available with the right side steering wheel setup and the one they were testing had to be "specially converted over for them". Well WTF?? Any connection?

Any THOUGHT connections in your HEAD, I mean.

Yeah, being a lightning owner...that kinda pissed me off.

I guess if i drove multi-million dollar cars all day the lightning would be a POS, however, who really has the money to drive any of those cars, let alone own them!
