For Those Who Have Installed Their Own Steeda C/C Plates:

Im getting ready to put on my MM plates.

I had a shop install the Steeda's a couple of years ago.

I read the directions for the MM install. IN all their steps, they make reference to removing "stock" parts off the Struts for the install. Since I dont have the stock struts anymore, im not 100% sure which parts to keep and which to not....I sold the Steeda's, so I need to make sure I include every part I need for the buyer of the Steeda's.

Does somebody that installed their own Steedas know which parts I will be needing to take off and include when I ship them out.

I will try to find a link to the MM install for you to look through and help out.

Thanks

if you look down at page 5, it gives you a parts list of what to keep

basically, the strut, the dust cover, and the bolt is all you need from the stock components... or at least that's what they say you need.

When i put my struts on, I bought new dust covers and the struts came with a new bolt so all i used from stock components is what was above the stock caster/camber plates and the "rubber/steel top mount" from the dust cover assembly

but with these caster camber plates it looks like you don't even need the "rubber/steel top mount" or the other stuff. just the nut

ok, i have yet to install cc plates (wink, wink, i'll let you know when it's in the mail) so i just went through the instructions and that's what i go...

Right, but those are parts to keep assuming they are stock parts.. Since I have after market ones already I dont know if any of those parts came with the Steeda's or are stock parts.

well, since no one else is responding, this will be a free bump basically.

All i was saying, was that from the "stock" parts, all they want you to keep is the "retaining nut" assuming you have aftermarket struts and a dust boot. so in the new 4 bolt caster camber plates that you recieved, it looks like you should have recieved everything BUT that retaining nut and dust boot.

at least i think that's what your asking... maybe nobody is answering b/c they are confused too :)... so take my lame response as a plea to restate the question ;)

i'm assuming you're not talking to me, but RC is like one of the nicest and most popular guys on here, so it's not the best idea to be making angry comments at him

RC can take it from there, but chill dude
Youre right...I can take it from here.. I tried to Email him, but he did not reply.

Chris..YOU can even attest to the fact that I said to you I was waiting to hear back from someone before I finally offered them to you.

If he would have Emailed me back, or even NOW and asked about it, instead of calling people what he kisses, then I would have simply apololgized to Chris for the misunderstanding and fixed the problem.

Thanks for the Reply Shaun/Chris.
