ford carlisle 2008

bump

is anyone have/bringing a canopy thingy? I was thinking about getting a 10x10 and setting it up by our people for us to congregate under and around

No room in the vert for a canopy. But it would be nice if someone else had the room for one cause it was blistering hot last year.:notnice:

Yeah that would be great. I will be bring the wife, which means any extra room I may have will be filled with her stuff, lol. Even though we are there for the weekend, she'll pack for a week stay.

With it being 3 weeks from tomorrow, how many of us are actually ready for the show at this point? I know my car is torn down at the moment awaiting some more goodies. Paul seems like he will be finishing up at the last minute like last year. Who else is actually together and ready?

Thank goodness we have a long weekend coming for Memorial Day as it'll give me some much needed time to finish the car. I have to get it dyno'd as-is, then swap the heads, setup these new to me shaft mount rockers, and determine my new pushrod length. I'll be lucky to have it all done. :(

I'm seriously doubting that my stuff will be on the car before carlisle, but who knows. The clutch went out a couple weeks ago, I'm tackling that fun job on Sunday morning.

Regardless, the car already has some changes since the show last year, so I'll be there :nice:

I was reading the registration page and saw this.

CLUB TENT

If 25 of your closest friends are coming to the show, why not sign up for a Club Tent – IT’S FREE! That’s right, if you have 25 vehicles registered under one single club name you will receive a FREE 20x20 tent to hang out in all weekend. This will be your own area; therefore you will not need to worry about finding an area large enough to park together each day. Don’t have 25 friends coming to the show - no worries - you can still reserve a club tent with a low $160 payment. If you have any questions please contact [email protected] or 717-243-7855 ext. 121.

thats cool but i don't think we're going to have 25 94-95 stangnet cars there. that $160 sounds cool if you still get reserved parking area.

We here in the 94-5 section may not have 25, but I know the fox guys have quit a few heading out. Plus Im sure some from the other sections will be going. Might want to make a post in each section, Im sure we could come up with 25 peeps.

Status Updates anyone?

-Didn't get my exhaust redone, or the wideband, or the methonal injection, or the battery reloc kit, or the blower pulley or the line lock....wow thats a bigger list than i thought it was
-New gauges installed.
-Cleaning the car tonight and friday

I got mostly everything that I wanted to get done finished.:nice: Some of the things I had planned will just have to wait till after the show. :notnice:
Leaving 5am fri morning.

I didn't get everything done that I had originally planned to, the heads, intake, TB, MAF, injectors, and 4.10's are still in boxes.

But, I did get the clutch fixed yesterday (went with a Ram Powergrip), as well as what you see in this picture

I got the fox TB conversion done and the sparco seats installed... that's it. I didn't get my hard top or side skirts painted, the 185 heads and shaft mount rockers are not on, roll bar isn't installed, stereo isn't done, etc. I'm leaving on friday too... what time is to be determined by how much I don't get done tomorrow.

:( I wish I had another week. the clear coat on my new wing turned out crappy and I don't have time to redo it. I still gots to put My HID back on then might have to take off UD pullies due to charging probs with the hids :nonono: .

Me and my brother are leaving here around 12pm thurs. hopefully. :nice:
