The Ford team had more cars than all the other clubs combined. The third round pitted 5 FDT cars against 5 cars from the various other clubs. The fourth round was all Fords after a total sweep! Jason Biscay won in a 15 second T bird.

Bob Wilson was there in his charged GT500 running 125 mph, but only low 11's. He went out in the second round. Kent was dialing in at 14.00 as he tried to get used to the T5. He broke out. He said he'd run it hard at Bremie. Jason Cooper was running 11.90's pulling both wheels off the ground. Sue Magruder made it to the semis in the F100. Dave Carmen lost to Sue in the fourth round. We had some new faces and new cars, all good people. I was pretty busy dealing with PR so didn't get to talk to people as much as I like.

I made only one practice pass since I must dial in 11.5 or slower anyway (besides, I was too busy to race). It ran a 10.95. Still more tuning needed. I installed electric fan today.

I felt that running the occasional low 11 didn't necessitate the bar.

Things have changed, now.

congrats on the 10 sec. pass John. good to hear the auto is working well. I'm still hoping I can finish my stang before the end of the summer so I can come out to a couple CCC events and race with everyone. I decided to go with forged internals while the motor is apart so that I don't have to take it apart again too soon. I'll feel better turning up the boost that way .

E.J. I did not have my clutch adjusted very well, and struggled to get it into 2nd and 3rd all night. My best was a sad 13.68 ET. I was hoping to improve on my 11.93 when I had the automatic. I have since adjusted the clutch and the trans seems to shift better. So Friday May 23rd we'll see. I also had to take some timing out of the car. When I had the stall converter, it let me get away with more timing, than the stick will.

I had to dial in at 14.00 just to ty to give myself a chance, I hated having on my window.

Capt. Bob did have his Shelby there, and man does it launch like a missle! Unforunately he was was having some issues, and almost hit the wall once when he hit 3rd gear. I haven't heard if he has determined what was going on.
