I actually heard about this a couple months ago when the fusions first came out. Coincidentally the razor and car debuted within weeks of each other.

The blades on the fusion last forever. On my Mach3 TURBO razor id go through a blade every 3-4 shaves. This one ive been using on the fusion has gone through like 10 shaves already and it still shaves like new.

you can go 1 step further and get cryogenic treated razors that last 10x;s longer.

Aha! Good to see I'm not the only one that sees the similarity. Got passed by one the other day on Highway 60, and as the thing was rolling up behind me in my rearview, the first words that popped into my head were "Gillette Mach 3?"

If car makers were smart, they'd use this sort of similarity modeling after something that would really sell cars due to subconscious association. Y'know, like making the new Mustangs' fog lights look like a pair of bulbous hooters. Er, wait ... looking at an '05 Mustang picture now ... hmmmm...

If you hit a bird with the grille of a Fusion going 65 mph, I wonder what becomes of the bird? Does it result in smaller bird pieces, so they won't cause as much damage to the radiator?
