Can anyone confirm whether or not the rockers that come with Ford's GT40x long blocks are Crane rockers? When I bought my GT40x heads used one of the rockers had some slight damage near the pivot point but I ran it anyways as it didn't seem to affect it's operation. Well yesterday it let loose and broke the pedestal it mounts through. I can't seem to buy just one from ford and was told that Crane actually produces the 1.7 rockers and I can get those (albeit in gold as opposed to blue) from either Summit or Jegs pretty quickly.

Pics of damaged rocker. Damage at the tips was as a result of the rocker moving around freely.

I can not tell you if it is the same as the crane but years ago I also broke one of the pedestals ( I installed the rocker with the fulcrum facing the wrong way) and I just ordered a new pedestal set from ford for a 93-95 cobra. They came clipped into a hardened metal c channel which I had to cut in order to get the pedestals out but it worked perfectly. I see your rocker is a bit messed up. If it is ok and you can get away with only a new pedestal you may want to try and do what I did. I had to look at an exploded diagram at the parts counter of the local ford garage as they couldn't find it based on name and description alone but I was able to order it.

Apparently my ex-husband made that mistake.

I think Paul is onto something there. I've seen people reuse rockers way worse than that. Either way, a 1.7 rocker is a 1.7 rocker. It doesn't matter what brand you use.
