I'm looking at getting one of these but im not to sure about the quality after reading some bad things about the gt-40 crate engines. Would this be a good buy or is there a better buy out there for the same price give or take a little.

i'm also looking at the street fighter gt. I can't say i've heard anything about it but i have heard good things about CHP from some f-body friends. Any input?

just my .02cents

i might have rick build one tho he would care about the motor more than a big company

The FRPP does not come with Forged pistons and it's a little pricey. I would go with a CHP or DSS. I hope to be adding a 347 Street Fighter to my sig next year.

M-6009-B347 Hyper Pistons, cast crank, forged rods, Sportsman block, Ford list 2595.00
M-6009-C347 Forged Pistons, Forged Crank, Forged Rods, Sportsman Block, Ford list 3095.00
Both are at the higher end price wise, but you get the Sportsman block, if you think that's worth anything.
Go over to Hardcore50.com and look for Mark O'Neal. He's the owner of CHP, and you can talk to him directly.
I went the local route......
