Ford Racing C Springs or Eibach Pro-Kit

It is decision time and I need some help. I am choosing between the Ford C Springs and the Eibach Pro-Kit but don't know which one.

I have seen and rode in a car with the Eibachs and like it very much. BUT, if I can get the same ride and appearance out of a set of CUT C springs, I would be interested in the savings of $120+.
Again, I said CUT "C" springs because I know the drop isn't as aggressive with them stock and have read here or elsewhere that they are designed to be cut.
So, I am looking for about a 1.5" drop and a slightly firmer ride quality than what I have right now. I know you get what you pay for and I am sooo very close to just spring for the Eibach's (no pun intended) and enjoy or take a chance at $109 Ford Springs and HOPE I like them.
Opinions please:

The ride is definatly firmer with the C springs. Its not uncomfortable but it is rougher.

I have heard the C springs are designed with a dead coil that can be cut and not effect performance.

They are definatly worth the $$ for the C springs.

Would a car handle better with the cut "C"'s over the Eibachs?

I'd be very interested in that answer as well. My debate has been between the Eibach Pro's, Ford C's, the BBK's, and Steeda Sport springs. My biggest concern is that I do no want to cut anything. It would seem that if it is a truly dead coil, then why even have it there at all?

I'd think the ride on cut C's would be like azz, since, to begin with, these are not progressive. Cutting 'em would make it worse. Just my thoughts...

The reason they have the "dead" coil is so people can have the option of how low they wanna go. For me I drive my car in the winter, not to mention my driveway curb is cuttin it close with the chin spoiler and 1" drop. 2" and I would be in trouble.

There were actually instructions included with the C springs to tell you where to cut the springs at.

The C will be rougher than the steedas I would imagine as they have a linear rate like two said, but linear rate springs tend to be a better handling spring than progressive.

Between the C springs and the Eibach Pro Kit I bought the Eibachs. I only paid $60 more (shipped to my door) than the C springs would've cost so I was happy. The extra drop is worth it.

Ride and performance wise, I have no idea. My roomate got the C springs, it doesn't look like it dropped at all.

I have the "C" springs and love them. I wanted a little more than the 1" drop but I didn't want to cut the springs. What I did was remove the spring isolators and went to Lowes and bought a thin walled rubber hose and put back in place of the spring isolator. Once the car settled I had about a 1.25"-1.5" drop in the front. I put the Eibach Pro Kit under my girlfriends V6 and I like them too, but the car sits a little too low. It drags on everything now that the springs have settled. Replacing the isolators on the "C" springs put me in the middle and I love it.

I didnt cut mine and there is definatly a difference. I got probably an inch all around. Definatly not as noticeable as some other springs but I could tell right away.

04Dark, your car looks great with that drop and I think youve just decided which one I want. It looks perfect, dont have to worry about the bumps and scrapes and everything else like C/C plates.

Do the FRPP springs have a dead coil on the front and back springs? I know the rear ones have one that you can cut if you don't like the "raked" look...but do the fronts too?
