If they're the same as they used to be, they are a rebadged Powerdyne unit.

You can buy a Novi 1000 kit for less and it's a 100% better unit. And it's upgradeable as your power needs grow.

If you're posting in this forum then the HP bug has already bit you and the horsepower expectations will be thru the roof.

Wow, you guys are harsh. As far as I know, the Powerdyne drivebelt snapping issues have been solved. Don't try to overdrive the blower and it should be fine. No, it won't make the kind of power the Novi will, but it's probably one of the easiest to install and one of the quietest running units on the market.

If you're looking for a nice easy to install package, but your power expectations aren't shooting through the roof, then the Powerdyne is a nice blower.

....and now......and dancing banana.

You should say that you like yours. Tell these guys that have no experience with a Powerdyne exactly whats going on. Ive heard there pretty good blowers myself, and the rebuilds are supposed to be way cheap and simple.

N8, the NOVI will go up to 500rwhp with no intercooler. Whatever boost that happens to come out on your combo is the boost that youll get. It should be in the 12-15psi range.

To my understanding, the early model 9lb units had belt issues but that it had been resolved. I agree its not a monster compared to some out there but it is completely silent and gets me to 6lbs of boost very quickly and quietly with a nice surprise to the fireturd or slowmaro next to me. No plumbing of oil lines and no hacking inner fenders to get stuff to fit. For the price and the results (aside for the motorsport badge ) I'd buy it again without a second thought. To each his own......
