I just got a letter from ford today about a extended service plan (esp), for 7 years and 100,000 miles. But my warranty was voided by marshal mize ford in Chattanooga, TN. The warranty was voided do to u/d pulleys and a short throw shifter. (I know its bull****) but me fighting it is another issue. I never recieved anything in writing. Now I don't plan on getting this extended warranty crap. But if my warranty was really voided, I wouldn't recieve this letter would I. Now this letter is pretty specific to my car. It says the date my warranty started November 29, 2002. It says what kind of car i have and even my vin number. So what gives. Anybody have any thoughts. If Ford has an oasis report on me, saying my warranty was voided, I don't think I would recieve this letter. I'm gonna be pissed if i find out i still have a warranty and marshal mize service tech told me i didn't and denied warranty work on me. Any thoughts
Please don't tell me about the Magnusson Moss Warranty act and the fact ford has to prove my mods caused the problem and all that. I know all of that stuff, but that particular dealership did it.
