OK guys I am getting a little annoyed with Ford's service departments here in the North West. Who has had good or bad luck with which dealerships as far as service goes?

Yea, cant say up North, but here we send people to Damerow ford in Beaverton.

A few of us that work in/own shops have gotten our start working there.

The Pierre Group (Bill Pierre and Harris Ford) are, in my opinion, inept and dishonest. VEEEERY bad experiences with them. I have been very happy with Olympic Lincoln-Mercury's service department. www.myolm.com Leigh Bennet is my service advisor and he's been great to deal with. OLM will work on any Ford product and can do warranty repairs too.

Work??? Nothing ever goes wrong!?

Actually, my wife's car had the intake manifold split (97GT). From this site I found that Ford had a "silent recall" but I was told many dealers don't like to do such work. Both dealers in this area were willing to do it, so I went to the nearest. That's the only problem we've ever had. In fact, my '87 has never needed a single repair.

Ditto for Brian at University Ford. Good work and a good warranty. I took my '94 into UF for a heater core replacement. The first one was "bad", they did it again and the second one blew.

I gave them an article on electrolysis and they flushed the system and fixed a couple of grounds. It had 2.5v in the radiator water. Now it is just under 1v. New brass heater core. No extra charges at all.
