Foreign car turbo problem...

So you buy a $165,000 Bentley Continental GT and you get a strange vaccum problem causing one turbo to over boost while the other under boosts. Here's what you've gotta do to get to the vacuum lines on top of the transmission for the turbos...

Before, nice and purrty...

Yea, I'm wonderin' what I need to modify to shoehorn that 6.0L twin-turbo W12 in the old pony. :D

What they personally take home varies a lot on what car line they work on (we've got 14). I don't know exact numbers, but I know that the Ferrari tech is pretty well fed and so are his many horses on his "ranch". I don't know about your part of the country, but our guys have been starving pretty much since 9/11. Business was great but after that it fell on it's face and hasn't fully recovered ever since. I'm pretty sure most of the VW techs don't make as much as me and I'm in parts (seems like we get the "leftovers" from payroll).

Ever since 9-11 its been a night and day difference, my dealership is dealing with probably a hundred less appointments a week.

Sounds like your ferrari guy makes a good amount, I was hoping so considering what they charge people for work on exotics.
