What is the best one and whos got the best pricing on it ? I just had a guy call me with a restored 66 mustang that wants to buy my 306 long block , he said name my price so I am going to cut him a fair deal but get enough to start my 408 I have wanted for 2 years now .......

what do you guys suggest for a kit and what kind of block would you get , I am thinking to keep it someone in a budget and just get a 94 or newer stock roller block ....

I have been doing some research and it appears the 94+ roller blocks are just fine for an N/A combo. Some 351 guys said that the 'roller' blocks being no stronger than a stock 302 block was just a rumour and they can handle a N/A stroked 351.

As for pricing...check out:

www.adperformance.com - They seem to have the best prices

My recommendation...

Call Jim at Fordstrokers.com (I think I have a link to the site in my sig?)

Jim will spend the time with you on the phone making sure you get the right parts for YOUR project, not just what he wants to sell that day...

I've made 2 purchases from him, and he's done right by me on both.

EDIT:
The 94 blocks are still good for over 600hp, easy. Some will say closer to 750hp, but it depends on the individual setup.
