found a 351w

that Im hoping to use in my 68 as a 408stroker. its outta a 89 f150 is/would this be a good canidate to build a stroker outta? good strength? its in complete form from a running/moving truck. the best part is its FREE...

just about any 351w block will do, unless you are pushing 600 hp or super high rpms.

I pulled a 69 351w out of my 67 and built a 408 out of a 94 roller block.......

Its a decent block . . . better than any 8.2 block.

At least its a 1-piece rear main already.

all 351w blocks are good blocks to use when building a performance engine. as states keep the power levels below 600hp, and keep the rpm levels below 6500 and it will last a long time assuming proper maintenance.
