My car lately after the header install has sounded like a bubbler right under the throttlebody.
And Today after re checking the bolts, I found one side missing on the smog tube. The one that goes from the smog tube for the h-pipe, and then has a u bend into some sensor. The header on the passenger side melted a hole. On top of that, my brand new msd wires somehow came to rest onto the header as well. I guess this explains my miss on the top end. Now the 2 wires have cracks where they were resting on the header.
My question revolves around that hole. What is going on when there is a whole in that tube. The car has been sluggish. I upped the fp and it runs better, but not what it normally feels like.
And one of the bolts backed out, can I just call summit to get a new one because I dont thing that a local hardware store will have a 3/8 bolt that is the same as the one that fell
EDIT: I think I meant smog tube. Not air tube.
