My has been running crappy but I found out it's my a/c. It'll bog a bit, then open up, bog then open. As soon as I turn the a/c off, it'll run fine. Another thing is it'll run crappy during the mornings. I've printed a bunch of crap about idle and will try it tonight, but that doesn't include the missing or anything. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Sounds like you may be low on freon. If the AC is cycling on and off consantly then you are low on freon and this will wreak havoc on your idle.

Sounds like an option. It's not completely fixed and has a leak. The permanent fix should be done by tomorrow. Thanks

What could be the problem with the missing when cold?

I don't have a surging idle, will I still benefit from a idle restrictor plate? I'll be setting my idle today to a lower rpm. It's currently right around 900 but I want 700 so I can hear the cam better.

Overcharging the AC can also have a bogging effect.

If the issue is present at WOT, check the WOT relay. I dont know how your PIH kit works, but on a stock 94-95, the WOT relay is in the CCRM. On a fox, it's a standalone relay that is mounted on the passenger side fender (kinda under the MAF).

The WOT disengages (turns off) the AC compressor when you reach about 3.71 TPS volts.

Guero, You might wanna start another thread - I think this stuff can get real confusing when two folks have posts going about semi-unrelated issues. And we're gonna need more specifics about what's going on.

Good luck.

Yeah Guero, get the F outta here. lol

Hissin, my a/c isn't overcharged. It's got a leak in the evaporator core and is probably running out of freon. It's not as cold as last week. I should get that fixed tomorrow, so I'll see if that helps. I wouldn't want to WOT it when the a/c is on.

Going to WOT with the AC on is no biggie. As mentioned, the compressor kicks off quite early as you mash the gas.
It sounds like Al was right-on about the low charge. The IAC might not be up to par and able to compensate accordingly. When the AC engages/disengages, it should almost be seamless.

when it does this you can hear the clutch on the compressor. if you look under the hood you will see the outside part lock up. every time it does that it will surge. happened to me.
