well i have decided on the canfields because they leave plenty on the table for later incase i upgrade to a windsor stroker. They will be ran with a trick flow stage 3 cam and a victor jr intake and fueled by my holley 750dp. Anyone have a similar setup? what kind of power are you making?
Canfields can be a great head.
My buddy had a set of extrude honed canfields, custom cam, 347 and went 11.0 @122, NA in a street car. (EFI car). I think the rwhp was in the low 400's.
Screw the stage III cam, you are spending the big bucks on the heads, why not drop the extra for the custom cam.
the reason im going with the stage 3 cam is because i already have it and really cant afford to buy another cam pluse the heads, so im working with what i have
