Would this make a good engine to bolt on some power to? i found this local and was wondering what everyone thinks...? let me know before i consider dropping some $$...also do those numbers sound accurate?

I sold a completely rebuild/balanced 5.0 WITH the heads, eddy intake, and long tube headers for $600.... so, just a short block for even more money sounds a little high. (although NOT unreasonable.)

Also, subtract that labor cost and imagine buying all the rebuild parts in a kit.. you will be able to build the block urself for cheaper.. and know its done right.
