I intend to buy a 1989 mustang GT for over $4,500, red paint is in good condition considering sun damage to interior and body is really good with no apparent accidents.

We looked at underside an saw some red overspray so am curios if it was factory overspray?

The car has good carfax and no mods.

Any thoughts?

Thanks

Actual over spray or thin poor paint quality?

Over spray not for Ford ..... thin and poor paint in that area it's from Ford.

Probability of unibody damage is higher when car has been repainted to I will look harder if the overspray is not factory. My 1988 is black and cannot determine if any overspray is there. How about your's?

It just looks like the usual ultra thin coat of Ford chassis paint to me.
