Fox body grille

I have a 91 mustang gt and the grille is plain with a ford sign and I have seen fox body's with a mustang sign with a space around it and I was wondering why my 5.0 has the ford sign. And my DSO says the date made was 8/90 and when I looked up my VIN it said 91 any reason why?

As far as the date made, are you asking why your car was made in '90 when it's a '91? The next year's models always roll out prior to the year model they actually are. Our Honda Pilot we purchased is an '11, yet we bought it in August 2010.

With the grill, are you talking about the running pony in the grill? Like the 93 Cobras?

The only Fox body with the Pony in the grille is the 93 Cobra. You can buy the insert from many companies. I personally bought mine from Cervini's. I haven't completed the install yet, but the fitment seems good so far.

i got mine off ebay for 45 bucks and it fit preatty good grill insert ....

It's just a grill insert, you can get them almost anywhere...

no the grill is not the problems its the hood that dosent line up ...
