Ok, well I guess first I will show you the reason I wanted to install a bulkhead in my coupe and its not one of the normal ones.
FIRST AND FOREMOST I WANT TO MAKE IT CLEAR! I DID NOT BUTCHER THIS CAR
One of the previous owners did. For some unknown reason (most likely a large drug and/or alcohol habit) he decided to cut out the center of the package tray and removed the seats back brace. I didn't know this at the time of purchase. It was behind the seat delete that hid it quite well. I only found out after owning the car for about a month when I went to pull the delete inorder to put a nicer carpet on it. Having never been in a coupe I didn't realise that there was a Y brace behind the seat so when I didn't see it looking in the trunk it didn't trigger any red flags.
I cried. Honestly, tears came to my eyes. The rest of the car is in good shape and lets just say that I paid a fair price for a clean car. I felt like an idiot. I dunno if the guy who sold it to me did this, but I know he didn't pass it on. I know, I know. Buyer beware. But that doesn't mean I can't think he's an ass.
Anyway here is car w/ the rear interior pulled. You can see how bad of a job this ass did.

So I decided that the only way I would feel better about this (Selling the car is out of the question. I love this coupe and the rest of her is in really good shape, not to mention the lose I would take) was to fix it up and try to cover it as good as I can.
One night I saw a post by mustang90gt that included this link. I knew immediatly that that was the fix I needed. Expensive but worth it. The car is going into hibernation soon and I couldn't afford to take the time to have one made locally.
So my soon to be father inlaw and I went to work. Being much better skilled at these things (Having a veterin machinist for a father in law is gonna rock) then I, he really did most of the work. I owe him a nice gift for x-mas thats for sure. He took a grinder and cleaned up the damage as much as he could. We "clearanced" the seat belt anchors (hell she ain't ever having rear seats again) and trimmed the bulkhead to fit. Using some self tapping screws for the bottom and a few screws and nuts we attached it to what remained of the package tray. I used screws instead of rivits so I could remove the bulkhead w/ having to drill it. Figure one day she might get a roll bar. I reinstalled the interior and put the bottom part of the seat delete in. Soon I plan on cutting pieces of carpet to size and laying them over the bulkhead. I'm hoping it will look like a nice delete when I'm done. And for once, there will be a coupe where the delete is truely lighter than the rear seat.
Anyway more pics in the future. Sorry about these crappy ones. Its night out and I couldn't do better.

For now I'm leaving the film on the sheet metal. Hopefully it will cut down on glare untill I get it covered. I also left the sound protecting in to cover the ugly wheel wells.
Anyway, I'm very happy with it. To me it not only puts it out of sight but in a way seems to have really fixed it.
Anyway I apologize for the lack of "in progress" pics. I left the camera at home by accident.
